So, can anyone tell me why the auto EQ keeps changing on my radio??  Love the Top Tracks (Classic Rock) station on XM, but I have to keep hitting the Auto EQ button to keep it off of the country setting.  It goes back to country setting every time I start the truck, or flip between stations.

Still running the base radio & crappy stock speakers.

Mine does the same thing. Not everytime I start the truck, but usaully when I change the station. I don't know what I did (sorry) but it seems to be acting better now.

Never had an issue with Auto EQ. It stays on Custom (#7?) all the time, regardless of station, band, starting the truck, etc.

I think the equalizer style is stored/linked to the radio button rather than each station.
That is, try this: 1) Select the station you want. 2) Select the equalizer you want. 3) press and hold the station location button you want. 4) When you hear the radio beep, you have stored the equalizer and the station to that radio button.

That may be what I have done inadvertently over time. Because it seems to be good now

I'll try that and see what happens.  Will let all of you know.
