Wheel off-set for H2

Zero -> Wheel off-set for H2 (9/17/2006 11:44:57 AM)

I'm thinking about purchasing 20" wheels with nitto 325/60 tires for my H2, what would be the correct/best wheel offset? Also does anyone have an idea what the difference of the overall vehicle hieght that this wheel and tire combo would make?

Thanks, Chad

Chad, I posted all the info in the thread you started in the h2 forum, but here it is so you don't have to jump around:

ok, I called my friend that owns a rim place, he said stock is -18 offset but that most aftermarkets are zero and +10 offset. At least in the 17-18" size, I forgot to ask him about 20's but more positive offset will only make the tires stick out of the wheel wells a little bit and not damage anything. My H3 has -38 stock and I went with +12 rims and they fit fine and look much more aggresive sticking out a little..IMO. heres a pic of how much a change from -38 to +12 looks

Also your stock tires are 315/70/17 I think. They equal 34.4x 12.4
the ones you are interested in are 325/60/20 they equal 35.4x12.8 so you may see a small ride height increase but not much at all.

hope this helps!

Thanks for the info, that should get me headed in the right direction.

If anyone else knows what there offset is on there after market rims I'd love to see some more pics. I kinda hate to put out that kind of money not knowing what the stance would look like.
