Am I missing anything?

2 Dry chem fire extinguishers.
First aid kit (with extra stuff).
Folding shovel.
Flashlight. (batteries).
Flashlight (12 volt plug in).
Gloves. (leather and rubber).
Blanket.
Tow strap.
Hammer. (the little ones with sharp point to break windows).
3 pop up reflector triangles.
CB radio (but still have to find a place to mount an antenna any ideas?) with PA speaker. (PA speaker for fun, CB so my wife and I can talk when she is pulling the boat and I am pulling our 5th wheel when going camping/boating)

Missing anything? CB antenna mounting ideas?
Paul

Shackles for the tow strap....  if you have the ones with the hooks on it then that isn't good... some parks won't let you use them...

CB inside:

Antenna outside:

Hey, great advise I have the hooks, but will replace them.

I mounted the CB to the right of the steering wheel. (wife's request). I like how your antenna is mounted. I didn't and don't want to drill holes in the body or bumpers. Great idea. I don't have those tail light covers (yet) but thats a mod I may have to do. Thanks!

Paul

it works for me just because of the low ceilings I deal with while wheeling...

JL has the best mounts I have seen for his CB... on his GOBI... but it's too high for some of the low trees...

Hooks are no good. I am still looking for a good place for the CB antenna on the H3. Just using a magnetic mount this weekend.

If you are using a tow strap with hooks - don't use that for offroad recovery. If that thing breaks, you have big, heavy metal missile coming back at your windwshield. You want a recovery strap and two d-shackles. The recovery strap is somewhat elastic and has not metal, reducing the possiblity of injury. You attach it to your vehicle with d-shackles.

I'd also recommend a tire repair kit. And compressor. Costco is carrying that $40-$50 one again, works great.

Not to hijack this H2 thread but Trail Duty is selling a roof rail mount for the CB antenna.

Yeah HummBob I have been looking at a set of chrome door handle covers. Leaning towards the stainless steel ones though. (and here I said the only mod I would do is the brush guard and window visors.) But every one has a right to change their minds huh? Lots of fun mods for these things.
