GM needs to realize that there are people out there that will not buy a vehicle with an automatic transmission. I''m one of them. I''ve had nothing but trouble with them, and they are BORING to drive. I was going to buy a GM full size truck with a Duramax, until I found out there was no manual, so it was off to Ford and Dodge. I would have bought an H3 Alpha if it had a manual. Nope. Again, no manual. It''s not as if good six speed manuals aren''t available for them to use. The other manufacturers have them. It''s almost as if they sabotage the manual option, by putting substandard manual transmissions in. What''s with putting in a five speed manual in the H3, when everyone has gone to good six speed manuals? Jeep has one in the Wrangler. Toyota hss it in the FJ. Nissan has one in the Xterra. This hurts GM''s reputation, giving the company a reputation that they aren''t serious about building vehicles for "drivers".
