Reef aren't you glad you don't have to fill up SeaBass's Hummer? When I was in high school "getting" any girl in school was a high priority. You have the perfect PW. Find a job, buy some gas and get laid in the back. You should be in heaven right now not bemoaning having to find a different job. I'd mow lawns all day to get Jessica Hotcrotch in the back of my Hummer at night.[;)]

All of this talk of "you know what you signed up for" when looking to improve gas milage is one thing, but when I bought my 2007 (5-speed) it had a sticker on the window stating 21mpg.  Something that I didnt think was impossibe given the manual trans and a 5 cyl motor.  Also the dealer had a huge banner that said 21mpg on the actual truck I bought and a huge chart in the showroom with a half dozen or so SUV's listed and the hummer H3 5-speed at the top with 21mpg.  That is kinda what I originally signed up for but never got close to it.    At some point I gave up and put on M/T's and a roof rack so at least its a useful gas hog.  I noticed that since the laws changed the 2008+'s have more accurate gas mileage ratings.
