After reading some of the posts about the hood scoop for the H3,  I can tell some of you don't like the one from ASAP.  But after seeing the one from rubberduck4x4, ASAP's looks great!

I have to agree, the Rubber Duck one has less appeal to me.  If I had to have a scoop it would have to be the ASAP one.  I also have to admit I have mixed feelings on the standard fake hood grille; if it was functional and was there for a reason it'd be OK but just to look somewhat like an H1....nah...  But that's just my opinion and it's worth what you paid for it.

I was thinking of doing the Rubber Duck one...but modding the hood to make it functional.  Ram air to the top of the air box would make it worth while IMO.

I agree with Cliff on this one. I almost liked the ASAP one for just the looks.

After looking at the pictures a few times, I dont think that I am fond of a scoop being on a hummer. Maybe on the hummer that has the LS07 motor in it, because it would have a purpose, but just to put it on, I think that it takes away the awesome hummer look. Thats just my opinon, but I dont knock if someone likes it.

I'm with you HeavyD, the grill makes the the H3 look good, don't need anymore to take away from that.

IT's unique.  Travis has great customer service as well.

BUT, (TO ME), I think adding this is about as cool as adding hood handles to an H3.  It's just more stick on or bolt on stuff that has no function.   Now if someone came up with a functional ram air system, sign me up!!!!

..same for a reverse hood setup.  I'd put handles on it it served a purpose.

Ram air would be great, but where would it ram into with the intake over on the side? Personally, I'd like the vents to work as exhaust and help move out some of that hot air. Offroading in summer the temp guage needle really moves up high.

Im with Alrock, and think it would be cool if someone made a cowl hood, that still looked like the stock one but functioned to move hot air away

I'm with HeavyD and Trey.  I like the look of the hood the way it is.................

I am not a fan of the hood scoop, either of them.

If I had to pick one I think it would be the first one. Definitely not the second.

Alrock, I have thought of taking the hood vent that is there and cutting the "slats" out to make it functional but I'm unfortunately not good at fabricating so I'm not sure as to how I would cut and fix the hood underneath.
