I'm looking to go with a wider 33' tire on a 16" wheel.  Has anyone fit anything wider than a 305 without a lift (tbar lift is fine).  If so, what wheel offset, and tire?

Mine don't rub anymore than my stock BFG's did... swaybar at full lock....

Trey hasn't had his offroad yet....  he just got them the day of the thread...

I have same size as alrock, I haven't noticed any rubbing issues. Might be happening but so subtle I'm not noticing. I will check during the "clean up" today and let you know.

There will be a bit of rubbing, but it's no big deal, it just gives a nice little polishing on the sway bar it was doing this with my 33's and it does it with my 35's just a bit higher on the sway bar

I'm not anticapating on having any rubbing on them.  I'll usually air down the tire when off road, I'll let you know I'll be at Kinzlow's in TN on the 15th-17th.  I heard there are some really tought trails out there.

If you're swapping wheels you may even tweek the offset a little and move them out to accomodate.

Hey Steve,

I really like these 12.50X33 Swampers I have. You saw them in action and you have heard Muddy and Trey sing thier praises,
so.....If you can lay your hands on a set......They might be the way to go. At this time, I have no lift at all and no rub.

You saw them down at College Station...I think they did well...Except for that one ditch...and that was more driver error.

However.......

I have been muling this over in my head since I have a set of stock wheels and 32's setting out at the south forty.

10.50X34 Super Swamper LTB's on the stockers.

They probalbly suck on the street, but will kick ASS on the trail.

$149.00 at 4WP.

This would be a trail only setup.....Using the stock wheels...Hell of a review in Four Wheeler Magazine.

Just noticed I had 305 in my first post I ment wider than a 285 (33x12.50).

alrock - How much space you you have between the tire and the fender on the outside.  Do you think wider would work with some offset on the wheel?

I love Interco and the Swampers.  Some of the best tires I have ever had on the old Jeep and lasted forever.  My only complaint was they sang like a siren on the road and would sink me to the axles in soft sand in about 3 turns on the tire.
