Well...I never thought this day would come folks, but I'm broken. Thanks to the rise in gas prices and the amount of driving I do...I'm waving bye bye to my most prized possession. It was a GREAT run and I will never forget the joy of having everyone and their mother peek at me whether it's with hate, loathing or envy. Hopefully I can do the new ride up enough to garner the same respect or anger that my beautiful H2 did.

This is definitely the greatest automotive forum I have been on with the greatest community of peeps! I thank everyone for their help in the past, you helped make owning my baby a joy!

Thank you, and goodnight.

2007 Charger SXT...I'm actually really looking forward to it! Although, once a Hummer owner, always a Hummer owner, so I'll still be kicking around on here and posting pics of the new ride before and after all the fun mods! :)

Too bad. I figured the gas prices would cause a few casualties. Hopefully you at least really like your new ride. it will be different. Might consider an H3 someday. They do get considerably better mileage than the 2. Good luck and glad to hear you are still going to hang around on the forum.

Good luck. At least you picked a nice car

Sorry that you had to trade off the Duece, but stay and hang out. Like Muddy said, the forum is for enthusiasts not just owners.

Post up the Charger when you get it.

Have fun with the Charger. I've rented a few and really like that ride.

Enthusiasts? No, no...I will still consider myself in the elite group of owners and former owners!

I looked and looked, and the Charger was the only one I could go to and not feel bad everytime I got in. Soooo...with the money I save, maybe I'll retro fit it to look like a Hummer! HA!

I would hate to have to give up my Hummers. Think I am going to go hug them now.

So your vehicles are about as fuel efficient as mine.
