Hey all-
Got the body lift "done" a few weeks ago - I still have to do a few things, but I've been driving it with no problems for awhile. Still have to build gap guards, Finish the rear bumper supports, re-fab the tow hitch back on, re-fab the front skid plate, and raise the hood hooks. Anyways, I temporarily threw my 42's on it today cause I need the rims that were on it for my Jeep - Took some pictures, since I know most of you guys like to see the wheelin hummers not the blingin ones...

Never mind they're too big for this site follow the link www.nvcustoms.com/42pics

I built it - I will have a full write-up on it on the website when time permits. It wasn't all that bad- I took a lot of time making sure everything would work the way I wanted it too, and it has paid off. I haven't had a single issue with anything since the body lift.

No grey. There were a few pieces of tan on Ebay a few days ago. Don't remember exactly which pieces they were.

looks good, Ive seen some sloppy ones before, like this...

hood hooks sunk into hood, grill guard looks like glasses at the tip of the nose..(its low) big gap between bumper/body ... etc.

yes, the droopy brushgaurd might be a bit on the sloppy side, but the gap between the bumper and body is normal. I have one of RubberDucks's lift kits waiting to be installed (cheaper than bumpstops and helps with air circulation in the engine comp), it comes with longer lift loops but to me that's purely cosmetic and not necesarily functional so I'll probably not install the new ones either as I don't plan on getting air-lifted off the trail anytime soon. I will, however raise the brushgaurd, though I like the look of the truck without them.

as far as the above truck...I'd be more bothered by the bling bling rims that are the wrong backset.

Those wheels are so wrong for an H1.

I have plenty of pics... taking them all definitely made the whole process longer, but I am making a point of documenting everything that gets done to this H1. Seems that everyone that does the crazy H1 mods is kind of hush hush about them, and I plan on giving the community the best insight I can on everything that gets done to my truck. I'll try to get the write-up done this weekend or early next week for you guys. The bumper/grill guard raising was interesting for me, as I was very intent on making it as or more solid than the stock location - I have the winch and I use it regularly! Came out well though.

As far as the blocks go, I'm assuming you're talking about the ones that raise the hood? I actually raised the brackets on the outside of the frame that the hood bolts too by 2.75" (I think) and then made a steel spacer block to get the other 1.25" inches - even when you look right at it, it looks factory.
