Is there a headlight bulb that will fit in the daytime running light location (bumper lights)? I want to put HID bulbs in there as well as the regular headlights and was thinking there was a headlight bulb that would fit so I could just buy a HID kit for it.

Piaa makes a kit.... you might search around here for it... it's only been discussed 40-50 times...

Definately a complete swap, headlight bulbs will melt the lens on the DRLs. Here is the post for the kit. Like Muddy said do a search, lots of other info here.

yea but PIAA wants $1300 for their kit, thats a joke...  You could buy a $99 HID kit of ebay and fab it in... Don't buy the $20 LED lights on ebay because they just burn out over and over.  The latest thing I am going to try is I bought a set of $20 xenon blue lights that are like 3 inches around and will fit in the DRL slot, going to take out the bulbs in there and the back housing and slip the fog lights in there with a switch...

Hey pteam....

I have a spare DRL assembly if you want something to play with while you are deciding...  PM me an address if you want it..

(They only replaced one after my accident... so I had a 60,000 one and a new one)

BTW... the kit I saw was under $250...
