Hi all, hoping someone can help me out

I have noticed on some H3's that they have an Embossed front lower skid plate(has the H3 logo)  is this a genuine or aftermarket item?

And if and where they are available

We dont have access to alot of this stuff in Australia so thus far have had to order all my dress up bits from the states

Everybody took the skid plate off and painted it themselves, or I've seen on Ebay a decal that you can buy and stick on it.  If you need to know how to paint it ask bennersj his looks great.

Mine looks nothing like this one here in the second pic...seems to have H3 stamped into it

I think it depends on what year you have. I have an 08 and do not have the embossed skid plate.

06's have the embossed plate.

I have an 06, Embossed Htre Embossed.

Is the skid plate Aluminium? I think it is. Steel would be too heavy.

My 08 has does not have H3 embossed....and it's a crappy, tinny silverish color - soon to be painted black.

They changed the skid plate in '08 to tie-in with the new bumpers.

My 07 was done last year. We sent it to panel shop and had it done in 2 pack when the Rancho kit was fitted.

07 here and embossed, just take the plate off and paint it.

I think black is going to be the way to go.....good old Mercruiser Phantom Black will look good
