Getting new shox, what kind?

Fox if you feel like spending that much. Or Bilstein.

Most on here seem to recommend Bilstein Cognitos

Yep, I've got them in the front. I'm thinking about doing the flex mod for the rear and going with the Bilsteins as well. Sometimes, just for a comparison, I'll hit a speedbump in a parking lot at about 20 MPH. The front is so smooth, but the back with the OEM shocks slams down hard.

I bought some Cognito stuff for my Deuce... it just screams quality....  I'm pleased...

See im wanting my ride to sit a little higher. right now it level so i was thinking the wat to go in shox to gut it up with out the expensies of a lift kit    so i guess the question is fox or cognito

Shocks will not raise your vehicle.

REEF_H3 -> RE: SHOX? (4/27/2008 8:29:33 PM)

i've heard it will.

Forney -> RE: SHOX? (4/27/2008 8:38:00 PM)

REEF_H3 -> RE: SHOX? (4/28/2008 4:23:07 AM)

Forney: I have turned my T-bars about 15 times on each bolt, still not pleases just want to get up a little higher with out buying a lift

GarrettMoore -> RE: SHOX? (4/28/2008 10:20:03 AM)

Shackles on the rear and keep crankin' the T-bars?

Your driveshaft angles are going to be insane...

Anyone try the air rides from Arnott? Looks like a cool product if the ride is good.

Shocks will allow your vehicle to be lifted with a t-bar crank.  They do not "lift" the vehicle on their own, but they are a needed component for a proper t-bar lift.
