The temp on the mirror in the H2 today said it was 89F. But none of that mattered, the H2 has great AC. I don't know if I could actually handle the below 0 temps or in the 20's for too long. I use to live in the San Joaquin Valley (Central Valley) and there would be times the temps would dip down into the 30's but never below that. The catch was it would easily hit 110 in the summer. Hopefully moving closer to the water will help out but I don't think there is much of a difference.

We're getting down to 30 tonight. Chicago officially had 270 consecutive days below 70 degrees, which was a record. Now we are going back down again.

But yeah, global warming is screwing up the environment by causing high temp's and droughts all over the U.S.

I've had more rain and snow in the past 6 months then I care to ever see collectively the rest of my life. Even my nasty clay-based ground around my house is soggy 2 feet deep (planted some trees this weekend).

Check this out:

There's a new(er) documentary on Global Warming out. I watched some of it on YouTube before it was taken down. It's VERY interesting to see what other environmental scientists have to say about it.

There's two sides to every story, then there is the truth. I'm more inclined to believe the masses on this documentary then Al Gore. Sorry Al Your intentions are good, but unfortunately we will never seem to know.

Yeah, you suck Dave

I spent most of my weekend getting our yard ready for the summer, painting our steel beast of a gazeebo, doing yard work, etc. Now everything is going to freeze, including my new trees. And I can't even wax my truck yet. I'm officially and undeniably done with the external portion of it.

No, really, I am. I swear.

OK, maybe the body portion of it, but I hereby declare external drivetrain mods to not apply Daddy needs a new exhaust.

Yep, sitting in my office with the french doors open onto the patio, boats floating in the water 40 feet away, slight breeze...it is just about perfect out there.
