i am getting a CLUNK from the center front end.  sounds like metal on metal.  happens when i am backing up and hit the breaks. maybe when the front end flexs up. when off road i hear it loads..

maybe something from the level ???

That was me.
take it to your dealer and have them clean out the torsion bar pockets and re lube them. They will probably try to lower the torsion bar even more than it is don't let em there is no need. i am also told by the dealer that if you have your torsion bars cranked up it can also cause this problem

mine does it sometimes. The dealership told me the front axle mount was worn

Just got mine back from the dealer and had them fix a bunch of things.  The big CLUNK in the front end turned out to be a loose sway bar bracket.  They torqued it back down and it went away.  I have seen too many threads on here dealing with loose, broken and mis-aligned front end parts on our H3's.  You think they would figure out by now that a solid front axle would fix that.  Ohhhh, I'm sorry!  Have I offended some Soccer Moms by saying that?  I wouldn't want to ruin your plush ride on your favorite goober smoocher car.  Sheesh!
