Magnuson Moss Act. Will not void your warranty.

MAKE SURE A DEALER DOES NOT RE FLASH YOUR PCM FOR ANY REASON! Predator can re-do it if it accidentally happens.

Dwaxman, cancel the Hypertech asap.

Go with the Predator Raptorq. Give Josh a call over at Predator Motorsports. (www.predatormotorsports.com)

Give him your VIN number and go from there. Tell him You want the discounted price for Hummer Forums Members.

Whats the story on the raptorq? Sounds like a good upgrade. Is it plug and play so to speak.

Sounds like a group buy opportunity.

Ok sorry - I meant Bob :)

Predator wont go below $505 on these even with a group buy. Thats $100 off their regular price as it is...

It is simple plug and play. Just have to make the BCM/Immobilizer re-learn the new ECM. Takes 30 min.

HUmmbob,

Any good tuner can do a bit better for you than a handheld. I had Nelson performance tune mine and you can basically just tell him what you want it to do. He'll send you a programmed computer, switch with yours, send yours to him. Any time you want to change a tune just call him and you just pay shipping. Very good if you don't change things often...(shift points, tires, ....etc.)

Thanks Guys!!!

So CONSENSUS is CANCEL the Hypertech and get a TUNE??

What do I do if I have warranty problems if the dealer ISN'T supposed to flash them? Won't they anyways??

Cancel the Hypertech.

Order the Predator Raptorq unit. They will program it with the latest sw revision and then add the programming for the engine and transmission. I am 100% positive you will love the unit. There are SO MANY MORE parameters that are and can be changed with their programming than what can be flashed with the handheld.

There would be NO reason why they(dealer) should re-flash the PCM ever. If they do - send it back to predator for a reprogram.
