Gatorfan -> Newbie looking for rims and tires on H3 (4/22/2008 1:12:01 PM)

I just got an H3 black on black non adventure package a couple weeks ago. I am looking to upgrade the wheels and tires. I would like to get 20" rims. I have read through most of threads here and I am still not sure what rim and tire package would fit H3.
I prefer to get a 20x8.5 with a 305x55 tires. However, I am not sure if they will fit without rubbing. I don't plan on cranking the torsion bars or lifting it. It will primarly be a on-road truck with the occassional trip to the beach or dirt trail. If not 305x55 tires , I would get 285x55 tires. Also, although I won't go off road I am leaning towards more of agressive looking offroad tire.
