Has anyone taken off the factory rubber (like) rail cover off the H3 lower door that covers where the lower rock slider will go and left it off and put on their rock sliders??, if so can you post up a pic so I can see how it looks? also..did you just pull them off pinching in the clips?
Thank you !!

NOt sure what your talking about. The OEm rock rails bolt on underneathe the H3 and sit about 1" below the side of the vehicle.  You don't have to take anything off to install them.

I am thinking about taking off the rubber (plastic) sides that are put on fromthe factory and have my new rockslider hug it....instead of leaving the plastic on....mold the slider to the frame
I will take a pic of it when I get home....I am able to fabricate a slider that can fit like a glove on the sides if I take off the rubber sides. I was just wondering if anyone did this already??

make them fit like aglove and at a slight angle and bolt it underneath...thought it would look better then having them stick way out....

I haven't seen anything like that either.... BUT... I'm not sure you want them that close...  I bent mine... that would have been damage to the truck if they already touched...

Especially since you wheel your rig, Tammy....  just something to think about...

Look at the photo Muddy posted of his bent rock slider, like he said if it is that close you could damage the truck.  Keep us posted on your project.

Bully Dog's exhaust would be torn off before you hit the slider
