I never wanted to bash a man's hard work because I'm sure in his mind it is the most beautiful thing in the world. However, I totally agree that if you want an Escalade..buy one. An H2 isn't some 10k truck you can pretend is a 60k one.

I agree.

I really have to say, choose, the H2 isn't a Neon or Fiero, this is a beauty, is someone wants a caddy, buy one, if you want a H2, then buy one, Bob did and I have to agree!
I have guys who take a F150 and change the front end into a Navigator, I think that is lame too, buy a Lincoln if you reall want one.
I know these guys do a lot of work to get them to look smooth and good but really, come on!
Sorry have a bit of a mood going!

I have seen the F-150 Navigator, at first I thought that it was cool then common sense hit me and I wondered why you would pay extra money to make your car look just like another car that costs the same. Like dwaxman1 said, it's not a Feiro trying to be a Lambo. To me it's almost as bad as buying a Lambo and changing the front end to look like a Ferrari.

Yes I also am not a fan.

Get a hummer or an escalade.

Not to mention its the old style escalade front end, and they dont even have a chrome grill. tsk tsk

The escalade does have a nicer interior and gets better gas milage but the problem is around here I see 16 and 17 year old kids driving escalades everyday thinking their the biggest pimps because theyre driving mommie's escalade or mommie  bought it for them.  None of them drive hummers, I guess its just too much vehicles for them!

Thus thats the main reason I drive hummers, little kids oh and ah about hummers and theyre much more rare, and you dont see 70 year old women driving them.

But altogether I do like the new style escalade, but only if I were to get one in addition to my hummer   :)   It would be great if they could get the h2 to get the same gas milage or closer to what the escalade gets, plus the cylinder deactivation that they get and we dont!     Also some new GM vehicles have the engine shut off at a stop light while your foot is on the brake and as soon as you take your foot off the brake the engine fires up before you can hit the gas pedal, these are cars that cost half as much as the h2! Why arent we getting these features yet paying more?

Also not to mention escalde hybrids, tahoe hybrids, gmc truck hybrids, yet not a hummer? people would snap those up in a second! just think hummers would be hip to the green crowd (somewhat) and whats the #1 reason people DONT buy a hummer? "It gets terrible gas milage" , well now its a hybrid! Every bit helps, and theyre trying to sell products right? people want better gas milage! Build it and they will come!

I was chatting away with some guy at the pump (of course because everyone asks what kind of mileage you get) and his little S class Mercedes was getting around the same as I get 12-15 depending on how hard I am on the pedal. He was suprised and thought that I got 7-10. Ignorance is bliss...It amazes me to how many people think that I spend my life at the pump and then they realize that H2's really aren't that bad of a gas hog compared to other cars. Could go on with this but I won't, beating a dead horse only gets you so far.
