I wander around on here a lot.  I think this is my first post.  We got the hood handles online, then were too slow in returning them.  Plus I think i put them on backwards.

I have 35k miles on it, and warranty is running up.  Any advice on things to check?  Its an 06 -- should i have them check the head issue I hear about?

Also this was base, and I traded door handles with another guy who wanted my black ones.  worked out real good!

Definitely have them check your VIN for the head issue.

They know when they made the adjustment to fix it...

How much of a warranty do we have any way?

Congrats on the H3 AND the Caddi!

Both are nice. Not sure about your hood handles, I think they actually go they way that you have them.

Nice truck and great color,,,, the hood handles though,,,, how can I say this without being a ****,,,,,, I cant, so I will keep my pie-hole shut.

How bout if I phrase it this way,,,,, great looking truck,,,, except for the BIG GIANT handles.

Please forgive me,,, just my opinion.

Cheers

Welcome and thank you for posting pics.   Nice.

What is the date of MFG?  All the Atlas inline engines built after 3/31/06 have the hardened cylinder head fix for the old head issue problem.  That does not mean a newer truck will not ever have a head issue, but it does mean that it should be ok.
