Sorry for the double post, but just wanted to let everyone know that Muddy and I will make sure that if you come out to this event you will have a great time.  The other members that we normally wheel with are a great group and this could the making of a big event.
You'll get to meet everyone, drive your Hummer off road and go home without getting your trucks banged up.

Sounds like a plan. I'll give you guys a definite yes or no in the next few days. I definitely want to go. I just want to install my streets and trips and map things out, and figure out how to manually plot trips in my TomTom The wonderful waypoint feature is about as useful as a bag of rocks hooked up to my computer.

Yeah Mike... you could take I-80 to 476 to 276 to either go through Philthy... or take the longer but better way through to the NJTP and Down to the ACE...

That's fine if you can't make Rausch, Jim... we were looking to play along the powerlines... and we'd like to get you back to Wharton...

Rich... pretty much the same for you.... if you don't want to go as far north as I-80 you can take the PA Turnpike across....

Brandie... Whatever works for you...  Just be safe....  We have the option to go to Wharton as late as we want... so if you need to sleep, drive, and then nap before we go out that is an option as well...

Also... nothing says we even have to go to Wharton... I just threw that out there to see who would be up for it...  I live close and can go everyday if I want...  I'm looking to make the people driving across states to be happy...

I think we have a pretty good base for a great weekend.

If I come down on Friday, I should be fine for Saturday and Sunday, is that ok with you Muddy? I don't want to intrude.....

I have to get some underbody protection....and take off my side steps......hmmm. Also it all depends on whether I still have this H3 or not.....I won't know until this coming Monday or there about. Still gives me plenty of time to figure out what to do.....sorry for rambling

sounds like it's gonna be a great time.......!

That's fine with me.... and like I said... if you or anybody else needs the extra time you are welcome to come down Saturday afternoon/evening and we can go to Rausch Sunday....

you all know what your tolerances are for driving and what you need for rest.

I have a spare room that could be used if needed, I'm about 15 miles East of Philly and about 35 miles away from Muddy.  If everyone can't do Wharton on Saturday ,we should still get together that night.  I'm going to a Hummer Club Event in Dayton, TN the prior weekend and I'm looking forward to this event even more.

What are we thinking now, Wharton Saturday and Rausch on Sunday.  I'm up for either, or both.  That being the case I will probably drive down on Friday.

Ok, I'm off Sat, Sun, and promised the wife Mon and Tue since I'm going away. Sometimes you have to love the military and our 4 days

My plan is to leave Sat morning and get in there somewhere around 5-6 Sat night. Hang out and have some fun, then go wheeling on Sunday then head back home.

Looking forward to this, been talking about it all day!

Sounds like if we want to, we can have a Wharton Run on Saturday for those who arrive early.  As for everyone else we should all get together that night either at Muddy's for a BBQ or we can go out to eat.

So Wharton and Rausch(SP) are two different places?

I don't want to sound like a pansy, but these places aren't too rough on the trucks correct? Are there bypasses for alot of the stuff? I'm going to be very far away from home to have something break, and you guys all know my service history. I don't have a full warranty anymore either, so I need to take it easy.

I might purposely leave the tube steps on so I can gauge what my limits are. I do have the underbody protection, but my wife is quite fond of our tube steps You understand.

HummerGuy,
I was thinking the same thing...!  Dont want to be broken down and be over 600 miles away from home....that would suck!

I would suggest that you bring some tools with you and take your tube steps off......you won't get very far with them on....even a little tiny rock!  Remember my little beach pics?  I couldn't even clear the rock if I went all the way over, and it was only up maybe 12".

Well, I'm still up in the air. I was mapping it out and I think if we go I'm going to take the long way through TN and stop at Graceland and Dollywood since she has always wanted to go there. It will give her something to look forward to other then mud I'm not sure if I'll go both days or just Sunday. I'd like to do the whole BBQ thing though.

We'll see. I thought I'd know in the next few days but it turns out I'll probably know more the week of May 12th. You guys just keep planning without me. I may not be in any condition to go by that time but we'll see what happens
