Carrying over a conversation from another thread....

yeah, saw it muddy,

we are coming home that saturday night from a week's vacation froning my other hobby (diving). i'll subscribe to the thread and see how things work out, i might be up for it.

thanks for all the effort you guys put in organizing these events! seriously.

Make no mistake... these events would not be sucessful if it wasn't for YOU folks doing YOUR part.

Are we are doing is naming a time and a place...  The attitude and maturity of the drivers showing up is what makes these events work.

Thank you!!!

Muddy and I just want to make sure that everyone that drives on in from different parts of the country have a great time.  If everyone shows up and has a great time than we have done our part, if it wasn't for our fellow Hummer Forums members there wouldn't be an event.
Like Muddy said, Thank You.

I have to agree with you guys, it is everyone that shows up and participates in these gatherings that makes them so fun.  We have yet to meet somebody on here that has come out with us and not been a great stand up person.  I also really like the fact that anybody feels comfortable enough and welcome to voice their interest in coming.  This forum is great and has what feels like an open door to anyone that wants to come to any meet.  Ther is always a welcome mat out for all.

Still with a question mark..... I am trying to make it for Sunday. That's tentatively an additional two (incl. my wife) joining the fun.

Sorry guys but this trip is causing too many what I'll call concerns between my wife and I. It's not worth it. I'll just take her to the Badlands park that day with our club and maybe we'll be there for the next one. That's all I'm going to say about it, so you can take me off the list. I kinda knew this was going to happen.

There will always be more.  You have to put yourself first on this.  Or maybe we can come to Badlands sometime? Guys.  I think Trey would be up for a road trip.  We can start traveling, Solarflare what do you have in Maine?

Hey bennersj, if you want THCI is going to the BadLands in either September or October.  I would go but my wife can't make that trip so if I find a co-pilot I'm there.

Well, The Illiana Hummer Club is having an official Badlands event this same day, but this is only 2 1/2 hours away from me so we'll probably just go here instead. Who knows

Bennersj,
I've been working on different ideas for a Hummer event up here in Maine. You used to be able to go up Waldo Mountain...which is a stone's throw away from me...but recently they closed it off because of cell phone antennas on top.....but I know a few people who know people, that might let me do something.....that's one thing.....there is also Sunday River which might let us go offroading. I know that the dealership has a hummer happening event there in the fall...usually october, BUT maybe I can get something going without the dealership! There are lot of options, and have been searching for different things to do.
If the Waldo mountain thing works out, we could go there, and then go to Fort Knox and see everything there....also there is a huge suspension bridge with an elevator you can go up....it's the first one in the US. Then on day two we could all go to Acadia National Park and see all the sights!

Also, does anyone need stainless steel step bars for their H3, that is going to this event? I'm taking mine off, because my rocker protectors just came in today. I could bring them with me if anyone would like them. I also have a brand new bug shield for a H3...Just let me know!
