That's almost scary to think that a Hummer can total a 4Runner but gets that much damage from a civic (comparible). I have a 350Z which is like the sister to the G35 coupe. I love that little car for her speed but there's something about being 6 feet off the ground to 6 inches off the ground that makes you feel a lot safer. If push came to shove I would get rid of the Z over the H2 but I know I would miss her.

This just happened recently to me:

A guy ran the red light, wanted to cross 4 lanes. I was coming towards at 50mph, he pulls right infront of me as I enter the intersection, I lock up my brakes and lay on the horn... plow.

All seemed well and the guy was nice, until the police showed up, he started saying that I ran the red light. Anyways, thanks to a nice witness, she was able to backup my story 100%. The guy ended up getting fined and cited for his actions.

To say the least, he's going to need some good body work to his E-250 Cargo Van.. I plowed in the back corner in and his crome bumper looks like a fortune cookie. I need a sharpie to fix up my tow hook bolt paint scratch... litterally.

Keep one in the glove box in case you have another accident. If I am ever going to be in an accident I want to be in the Hummer.

Was the $20K just on your H2 or both vehicles?  It doesn't look that bad, but it is amazing how fast it can add up.

Does your H2 handle any differently then it did before the wreck?

It's much better.... but I'm sure a new frame, alignment and new tires didn't hurt...  the transmission runs MUCH cooler since they had to replace everything BUT the tranny...

The only issues still are the brake cables are routed wrong... so I have to take them off and redo them myself.... and there is a small plastic piece missing when you open the hood...

and they didn;t align the headlights right... and I could go on... probably would have been another 5k if they would have ****ing fixed everything the right way... the first time... I gave up going back there... but I tell you one thing... They will never work on my truck again...
