It would be a good idea to run with a buddy though.

You're absolutely right.

My girlfriend accompanied me on my frist trip, and it was on a Saturday, so there were plenty of people there.

This time, I went alone and was probably the only person in the park. I was getting a little braver to boot.

There was a one lane construction road built up with rocks that was surrounded by water on both sides that traversed the entire park. I was travelling down it and eventually had to turn around. I got one wheel off the path and into the water, and I sank like I rock into this nasty, super thick mud. My heart was racing as I knew I did not have winch point, nor anyone else to help me out. Luckily, I was able to lock up the rear and reverse out, otherwise, I may have spent the night there...

I think I would be a little un-easy to attempt to go in the water knowing the gator was there and to get stuck. Thanks for sharing the pics!!!!!!!!

Offroading alone isn't advisable even without the gator.[;)]

Don't you just love the water lizards. We get them in Queensland up north but crocs not ali's. Looks like great fun there mate.

We actually put 4 screws in number plates to stop the water ripping them off. A mate thought he would put one in each top corner and one in the centre on the bottom of the plate as his plate was mounted on a flat surface on his bull bar. Deep water still bent up the corners.

rhill20 -> RE: My Trip To J.W. Corbitt (5/4/2008 7:12:43 PM)

I just recently added about 4 more screws into mine as well. The lower left side was bent everytime I walked around it.

I have bent several all to hell. Extra screws don't seem to help when the rocks are eating them up.
