so today at school we (all of the seniors that park in the front lot) were told that we needed to park in the "grove." for those of you that dont know, and i suspect noone should, the grove is basically a grass...field... in front of our school where we do tailgating and such, not really used for anything at all. its mostly grassy and kinda is bowl shaped. so anyways, everyone had to park down there today. well it started raining at about 9:00am and kept at a steady pace until school got out at 2:40pm. i knew it was gonna be good, so i headed straight out there from school to watch the mayhem. all the guys with 4x4's were fine, but there were alot of cars down there. everything from your basic hondas to a 76 mustang, lowered m3, a 911 turbo, and a few mercedes and lexus'. well i didnt have my tow ropes to pull anyone out, but luckily we didnt need em. needless to say, we tore the grove up trying to get people out of there. me and a few of the other football guys hung around to get all the girls and other people who needed a hand out. we had a couple of guys pushing and keeping the cars from sliding around while one drove. noone got stuck and there was no damage...cept the grove is a giant mud pit and the lot leading to the school exit looks llike a dirt road now

just though it was pretty funny, sorry for no pics

oh yeah, forgot the best part...i got yelled at by my principal for "slinging mud everywhere" partly because i was one of the last ones left, funny part is that i refrained myself from doing donuts...there wasnt even mud on the sides of my car and he was screaming at me and yelling that i was ruining the grass when there were plenty of other people (like my friend jacob in a 1994 camry) spinning donuts

props to him for knowing which car had the most off-road potential and singled it out as the source of the problem, but too bad he was wrong!!!

11 more days of high school!

What the hell High School do YOU go to, 90210? We had old Nova's, Camaro's, Chevette's; pretty much anything we could get for a couple hundred dollars. Then you spent all of your freetime working so that you could spend your offtime fixing them up

HG,

HG,

hahah I was just going to mention that. Back in my high school you were the rich kid if you had a car that actually held a shine

Actually I have a similar story, but with snow. I had my jeep cherokee in high school and people were stuck in the snow, I was trying to help people out left and right, but just getting on the road didn't mean you were home free. I feel I am much safer now in my Hummer

its a private school, and indeed there are alot of rich kids that go there. i myself and certainly not underprivileged in the auto department (seeing as my dad owns a car dealership), but compared to most people at school im one of the poor ones (haha)

...by no means am i saying that im poor whatsoever, cause im definitely not...if anything, very blessed that i live the life i do, but there are a ton of people richer at our school

Just curious, seems like kids today ALL start out with better (or more expensive) cars than my generation did. I'm sure the generation can say the same for when I was a kid though

Hey Rich that's because their parents busted their a$$es and made some money so they could help their kids more than ours could. I went to a pretty affluent high school but I only remember one porsche and one jag. Most of the rich kids just drove nicer trucks than everybody else.

When I went to high school I had to walk both ways uphill in 4 feet of snow...j/k.  I was lucky enough to have a limo service take me to school everyday...it was called a bus.

Same here....  and my dad drove it... well... when I was in High School...  The neighbor drove it when I was younger...  it picked you up at 0620 and you rode it until 0718..
