I'd like to go to this one. Plenty of time to build a camping attachement [:D]

Too bad we've never been camping before [8|]

Thanks for the welcome.  I do visit the forum and surf but have been so busy with The Hummer Club stuff that I can't stick around to long.  I am going to Kinzalow's next month and am working on coordinating the event at Windrock.  Plan on also doing Beckley, WV; Rausch Creek, PA; and the Homestead this year so I will get some time having fun as well as working on THCI stuff.

The H2 is going to an electronics shop next week that does all the custom work for Capitol Hummer to install a CB like I have in the H3 and install dual selectable rear cameras that will automatically come on when you go into reverse with a switch option to turn on either camera at will.  The cameras will be selectable as high/low.  One is going to be installed at the hitch and the other one at the top of the door assembly.  I have a custom trailer that I had built to haul the H3 with the H2 so I wanted to be able to look at the rear whenever I want to.  The high camera will have a wide angle view so I can see the trailer and the H3 when I want to.

Spring is here and I am ready to get muddy again.

Sounds like a busy schedule. I have to miss Borrega Anza this year because I have to be in Texas that weekend. Should make Sedona. You guys have most of the really cool events back East.

Camou, I wondered what happened to you [:D]

Glad to see you are being active in the Hummer community. I'm trying to do the same. My wife is actually all up for these trips after talking to her last night. I'm going to try to make as many as possible.

No camping needed, THCI blocks out a number of rooms at a nearby hotel.  How can your wife say no to that, if my wife had to camp you could forget about her going.

Oh I know all about how it works. I just thought I'd use it as an excuse to make something new for the truck. Looks like I wont have that excuse [&o]

How about one of those trailer-hitch BBQ grills, make one of them and than when we break for lunch we can fire it up and cook us some burgers on the trail.

HummerGuy -> RE: October Off Road trip in Windrock, TN (4/18/2008 11:14:44 AM)

I actually have a Hummer grill. They are awesome. it takes 5 minutes to set up and take down and it cooks incredibly even. Non-stick surface, use the small propane travel tanks, etc. I love it.

Hummerguy, bring the grill and bring the wife! I know we have some great events east of the Mississippi but we are working on more events for '09 west of the big river.  We just need more help with the Club to have more events.  I am working on that issue.  I would like to see the country divided into 6 geographic regions and in each region we could have 4 to 5 Club Ambassadors.  Then we could have more events.  It is simply a matter of places to go, volunteers, trial leaders, etc.

I don't have a Hummer grill but I do have a Hummer cooler and a Hummer flashlight.  I will bring them both so if we grill in the dark we can have some cold refreshments and use the flashlight to find the burgers.

Skippy Hertz rents Hummers. I would take the damage waiver insurance though.

Trey124 -> RE: October Off Road trip in Windrock, TN (4/19/2008 3:19:24 AM)

We need more events in the NorthEast part of the country.  I know it's hard to find places to go, but everyone I meet always ask about when THCI will be having events around here.
