I'm looking to find out what the 4 wires on the H3 for towing connector are for. Anyone have that? I'm guessing the white is hot always, green is backup, and the others are directionals? I'm looking for something to connect a backup camera. So far I haven't found these wires to be hot at all in testing. Could it be that they are in the bundle but not connected somewhere else?

You have a 2008, they put a manual in the glove box, it has info in it. Open it up and look what it says. Pretty much the same as other GMs. I'm thinking you won't be using those for your camera. Good luck! Trailer Wiring Harness Light-Duty Trailer Wiring Package If your vehicle is not equipped with a trailer towing package, the chassis harness will contain the following blunt cut circuits: • Yellow: Left Stop/Turn Signal • Dark Green: Right Stop/Turn Signal • White: Ground • Brown: Tail Lamps

ok thanks - no backup light there then. I'll have to find out how to get the light lens cover off to get to the backup light.
