Yep, I noticed. That is what the additional slider/cover is for . . . ;-) Actually, I have been toying with the same idea, but I like it stock on cloudy days . . . especially when it rains.

Tinting sounds like a good idea, especially when you are riding around with the cover pushed back. But with the cover pulled forward while your H3 is parked should keep things cool.

I love the sun shining in thru the sunroof. If it gets too hot just wear a hat, that’s what I do.

The sunroof is great and the cover is almost always slid back rain or shine, it just makes the truck feel more open.

I think there is a tint out there that will darken on sunny days.....something new I heard about.....I'll check it out and see if my distributors have heard or seen it as of yet........it might be something to look into!

Here in the desert I only have to close the slider in the peak summer months. The rest of the time I leave the slider open. The glass already is tinted - have you felt the difference between it opened and closed? I don't want it darker as I like the light coming through. It's already in the 90s here - yesterday was the first day I closed the slider since September as I wheeled through a 95 degree hot and dusty desert.

I have thought about it, but it is already tinted some from the factory and I like the open feeling like has been said. Gets too hot, I just close the slider.

I'll probably leave mine alone....but just wanted your opinions..... maybe my head is just sensitive to the sunlight.....I've always had sunroofs, but I notice the heat coming through this one more......maybe because it is soooo big!

Maybe it's because you are higher up It's not a bad idea Solar, just depends on what you want. Put a piece of Window tint film on it that way if you don't like it you can just take it off.
