Long story short - GM has launched a relatively big (as big corporations go) push to capitalize on social media (weblogs, wikis, message boards)...so I've really lucked into some cool experiences. Hopefully it isn't a fad - but considering GM is spending half of their $3 billion advertising budget on the internet this year (a record), it looks like it may be around for a while.

RACE NEWS -
TEAM HUMMER WINS BIG AT BEST in the DESERT'S 'TERRIBLE'S 250 at PRIMM'.
#8111 H2 SUT Josh Hall 1st
#4111 H3 Alpha Chad Hall 1st
#3111 H3 Rod Hall 1st
#1810 H2 Emily Miller 2nd
Earlier today, Josh Hall won Class 8100 at the 'Terrible's 250 at Primm' in the #8111 Team HUMMER H2 SUT for his second consecutive win this year. Shortly after that Chad Hall took the checkered flag for the win in Class 4100, driving the #4111 Team HUMMER H3 Alpha. And, just moments ago, Mike Winkel took the win in Class 3100 driving the final lap in Rod Hall's #3111 Team HUMMER H3 SUV .
All three wins were by a substantial margin mark the first time all three production classes have been won at the same race by Team HUMMER!
Details to follow in the Team HUMMER Terrible's 250' Press Release.

NOTE: It appears Hummer Guy did NOT fall out of the truck today as expected.

Just made it back to Dallas after a crazy few days. It's hard to put into words riding along at sometimes 100+ mph speeds with one of the best off-road racers in the world. The whole gang at Team Hummer/Rod Hall Racing was incredible - super nice crew. The pre-run was pretty intense, but when we were completely airborne in the first 15 seconds of the actual race, I knew I was in for a good time the next several hours. Considering they were stock parts, it was amazing how durable these trucks were and what they could take. Only a few hiccups in our truck -- we realized at pit one that we had lost our spare tire off the back at some point after the last pit. I think it's still off in the desert somewhere.
