I'm still confused...I'm in philly at least twice a month and I have never seen trash on the streets, no graffity on the buildings. The hospital is one of the most advanced in the tri-state area. I brought my son to a museam there two weeks ago and it was beautiful. I hardly doubt schools from around the tri-state area would have class trips to Philly if it was indeed a ****hole... but it is one of the most visited destinations for NJ and NY schools.
Again depends where you are I guess...but the tourist areas and the area I bring my brother to is very very nice. I was just there last Monday!

I think Mr. NJ should take a walk through Trenton, Newark, Elizibeth, Roselle...now THOSE are ****holes!!!!

You're ****ing insane....  There is no ****ing way that you didn't see trash in the streets...

and pick a hospital... I bet you I can pick up a contractor's bag full of trash around any one of the dozens of them....

I was there a few times as well for work. There is the good part and bad part, just like any other major city in the country.

You are both right. There is a very nice touristy part that is spotless. That's around where our office is.

THEN, there is the insanely littered part where there's trash all over the streets and sidewalks. That's the part where all the street vendors sell things. I don't remember the name of the street, but it's not far from where Rocky was based, and the street is even in the newest Rocky movie. They even showed how dirty the area was at the beginning of the movie.

Maybe you guys should give tours to each other so you can see both sides of the city
