Ok, dumb question here....where is the spare tire stored if you don't have the rack on the tailgate?

Nowhere.

All Sut's came with the tire on the back.

I guess you could carry one in the bed, but that would take up what little room you have.

Not all.....I've seen a lot of SUT's with no spare on the back....and no holder.....

They may have taken them off. That is the only spare location I have seen on an SUT.

All tires went on the back in 05. Any SUT you see without one was taken off.

Ive seen this too, but never paid much mind to the  holes in the bumper with the recovery hooks. Also the licnese plate. What are you guys doing with that? I was thinking of possibly removing mine. I found a kit on line, but really dont like it in chrome and the license plate off to the side looks funny.
