Great storms here tonight in North Central Texas.  I am a Ham Radio spotter for a local TV Station.  Used my Hummer, not the Aero:).  Let me tell you, H3s are very loud while being pounded by large hail.  No tornados touched down, but a few came close.  jh

It sounded like loose marbles in  a dryer, but no damage.  I closed the moonroof slider in case the glass shattered, but no damage.

I had the Army H3 last spring during a big hail storm here and the whole top of it is "dimpled" now. You're right, it sounds like it's going to come through the roof.

I should have the top sprayed with black Rhino Liner.  Finish making it look like a penguin.

Wichita Falls.  KD5LMX.  We had quite a few news weather types looking.  April 10, 1979 we had our town flattened by tornados.  Folks here who remember that Tuesday get nervous this time of year.

Ahhhh.......Wichita Falls. The epicenter for bad/dangerous weather in Texas.

You can get that Balistic grade Line-X the military is using....Comes in a variety of OD colors...

I remember that. Whole areas were nothing but 5" deep rubble. Amazing devastation.

It loked like Viet Nam after 52's dropped 1000 lb bombs.  To study for a license, go to QRZ.com.  Free practice tests.

They still show those videos at Shepard...  When I was there for Tech School in 94... and back for 7 level school in 2004...
