I use something called Power Clean or Purple Clean. (get it at Auto Zone). It works good on the tires, frame, and wheel wells.

I use this stuff...

http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?&SKU=11138

... and have for years on my vehicles prior to my Hummer. Once you use it a few times it actually makes cleaning a breeze. I just hose off my wheel wells and re-apply and they are like brand new again!

Mike

Dennis, it probably is! I love this stuff, I keep a gallon refill in my garage at all times. It makes my H3 look showroom new again! The griots has a very pleasant smell but you can tell it has a petrolium base to it.

Could be then..The HS stuff smells like grapes..But as you say it does spruce up the underside and wheel wells nice...and also like you say, mud and slop don't seem to stick on as easy..washes right off.

LMAO, that reminded me of last year Deer hunting. I got to my spot around 4 am, it was of course pitch black so I found the tree I had tied my orange strap to and cleared out the day before. I sat down and waited for sunrise. at around 7:30 I started to smell something...something real bad I got up and looked...I was sitting in Bear crap That was the stinkiest hunt ever, damn smell stayed on my hunting outfit all day.
