Just got my H2 SUT yesterday.  I bought it used but it came with a dealer installed "airaid" type intake/filter combo.   I just want to know if it's normal to hear a slight vacuum sound from it on accelerating.  Sounds like there could be the slightest leak but I can't tell if it's just what  it should sound like.   Anyone know?  Thanks in advance for you input and advice.

Thanks.  It's barely noticeable but I notice everything.  It coming from right behind the glovebox under the hood.  When I'm cruising constant speed I don't hear it, it's when I speed up to pass or something.

Thanks again.   Maybe the owner before me was trying to increase mpg.  The computer says average of 11.9 and that's after I've driven it the last 2 days getting in the gas and all.   I'm satisfied with it though.

I have a 3 not a 2, but I have the Airaid on mine and yes you can hear the vacuum noise. It's sucking in that air Get Doc to make an AirDoc for the 2 and you will REALLY hear it.

The Airaid isn't going to do alot of anything for you MPG, just helps on take off's and passing power a little. I like mine.

Rhill,  Thanks for the input.  I thought it was probably normal but I've never had one of those aftermarket air intakes before.  I just really hear it when I get on the gas.......as far as the extra mpg......just wishful thinking I guess.  Have a good weekend and thanks again.

11.9 mpg in a 2 is pretty good. I didn't do that well.
