hey guys, im new over here. i come from www.fullsizebronco.com and there is a guy over there doing a home made hummer build using an F-150 body.

everything on this car is pretty much made from scratch...even the body, all made from scratch!!!!!

i dont know if this has been posted over here before, but it's definatly worth the time to take a look at it, its amazing the quality he put into it, and even more amazing with the limited number of tools he had to do it with, i strongly encourage you to take a look through the thread at all the pictures and updates he's given

http://www.fullsizebronco.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25748&highlight=homemade+hummer

a couple of pics from the start of the body, last time i checked it was out of paint and he had a rolling chasis

It's been posted here before.... I'd like to see the updated pics when it is done though....

If anybody over there needs cutouts for a late 90's Big Bronco or a lighted visor please PM me...

I'm going to make somebody really happy with the price if they contact me...

THAT LOOKS FREAKIN AWESOME.....BUT I DO NOT believe he had no experience with welding, If you look at some of those weld joints you can tell there is no way a beginner did that.

Yep. I have a friend that can buy anything he wants. He has built two airplanes a Cobra replica in his shop just because he likes doing that stuff. At the end of the day he could have bought as cheaper or cheaper as he spent on those things but that is what he liked doing with his time.

Not sure how current the photos are of the project. Wonder if this is where he is or if he ever finished it?

that last picture i posted was before any engine was dropped into it... Since then he purchased a 7.3PSD Ford Diesel and cleaned it up. He hopes to have it done June of 2008. So it is still an alive project!

Amazing. Except for the doors it looks very close. Wonder if AMG will bust him for making a knock off?

I don't see what they could possibly due to him for it.  I think it's great, even if he was exaggerating about now knowing how to weld or whatever he said.

Probably can't but when people sue over someone using a likeness of then without permission anything is possible. Isn't your lunchbreak over?
