Ordered a set of LED windshield wiper squirters (yes, that is the technical term ;o) and cannot seem to get to my old ones.

It's the circled white thing... anyone have any clue how to get access to that??

*Looks at Doc and others who know what they're doing*

I think that piece up against the windshield comes out.....then you can get to them...I'm sure someone will chime in that knows what they are talking about!

After about a half hour of tinkering, swearing, and praying to God I dont break anything, I came to the same conclusion. Im just not sure about whether it can be removed from the front or the back...

It take a special tool to get that "grill" piece off. If you don't have the tool you will break it. Search the forums for windshield replacement and you will see what I mean.

It will look good once I'm finished with all of the rest of the light upgrades.

I guess we'll have to trust you on this one. Custom interior? You got pics of where you're at so far?

I'll upload some sometime soon. Don't really want to just yet until I've got all of the stuff in, BUT i will say that there will be lots of blue lights ;D

Anyway... so there is no way to install these things without taking them to the dealer??

Since you mentioned a lot of blue lights, just want to make sure you are using blue for the ricer lights on the fluid nozzles... Texas Statute regarding Blue Lights.  Here in Oklahoma the penalty is pretty stiff since it is an emergency vehicle color only, just want to save ya some grief.

Have a good one.

Get the body panel removal tool or you have a 50/50 chance at breaking the cowl.  Windshield Replacement w/Photos

Good call whatever.

Got any window glass bruds?  they could help.

It is enforced, and is a Class C Misdemeanor which is a fine up to $500.

You should see my headlights

But I have decided to count my losses (a whole 10 dollars ) and just not get this installed. It was a nice idea but too much trouble and money to the dealership so that they can install it. Thanks anyway guys.
