Do any of you know how much difference there may be in MPG comparing running the auto climate A/C on all of the time vs. turing it off. From my understanding it's small, but I just wanted to here all of your thoughts.

I never tried it to see how much of a difference it makes. And I never will. Wait till winter and see if you notice a difference. I think the compresser shuts off when the temp outside drops below 50 or 40.

I can answer this first hand (what a surprise right?)

I drive every day 50 miles minimum. Sometimes I have the A/C on the entire time, sometimes I have it off the entire time.

Does it make a difference? Not really, not for me.

MAYBE you'll get 20 miles or so less on a tank, but that's only about 1 mpg less. I'm honestly amazed that you don't really loose too much. I do have a 5-speed though, and not sure if it's different with an automatic. Whether it's on or off, I usually get around the same MPG.

The compressor will run in the winter time if you set the vent control to defrost. It does this to remove moisture from the air before it blows it onto the cold glass, which would make it condense and make it harder to see until the glass heats up.
Any noticiable difference in fuel economy between summer with the ac on and winter with it off would more than likely be the result of the many different variable between the two seasons, then from the use of ac.

I notice a difference with the air on .My other suv never did ?
But i notice a big difference of savings with the new K&N SYSTEM.
The motor with this new system seem to be working less harder you can feel it.
