HI all..I am looking to get an H2, and was wondering which year is best. I would prefer '04-08. Was looking at recall info here http://www.lemonauto.com/complaints/gm/hummer_h2.htm Are any of the recall problems really serious? Some look scary like the 06 steering and braking problem. Has it really happenedto anyone here? looks like only the 07 h2 was not recallled at all, or maybe it's just too new to be found of any problems yet? Thanks...

Don't know for sure. I bought a 2003 new and had almost zero problems with it. Replaced a water pump and tires in 50K miles. Brakes were still good and no other mechanical issues at all. Ran that truck pretty hard also. My older brother has a 2007 H2 and he has had no issues. I would buy another 2003 H2 without thinking about it. I really like my brothers 2007 also. Maybe because its newer it seemed a little quieter and tighter but after what I put mine through that could just be the usage.
