They were awesome.... had I had the BFG's my truck would be in the body shop today... the trip was nothing less than awful overall... I felt no real need for any major wheel speed and never got out of 4lo-lk 2nd gear.... See for yourselves.... no major body splashing.

Read about the trip in the other thread. Surprised you didn't drag the prick out of his jeep and mop some mud with him.

So.....You are happy with the tires? They perform up to your expectations? Aside from being a little hard to balance, no other issues? I am really considering a set of 35's to replace my 33's on down the road. Since the shoulders aren't quite as square as say...a Mickey, just a small crank on the TB's should do the trick. POST some MORE damn pics man.....Just do it ! ! !

Tires are great... still trying to figure out the Air Pressure I want.... They put 48 in them at the tire shop, and it rode great, didn't handle well in high speed turns... I aired down to 19-20psi... they felt great... I think 22 is my new target pressure.... Trey aired them back up to 47... they settled down to 42 overnight and I drove home and that felt great... 80 in the turns with no noticable push.... but they were louder... I think I will check out 45 next.... and more pictures?? I posted some new ones of Trey, Scott, and Steve at Rausch in this forum...

Gunner I have the 35 Mickey's they seemed to hold there own very well. I think Trey and Stan would agree, plus they also look pretty good IMO.

Yeah.... those muddy Mickey's that Scott has are pretty badass.... he pulled Steve out when he buried his Deuce to the axles....

I was on my best behavior.... in fact... on the way home... after all the technical stuff we did... with no carnage... Lynn told me I can't go to the academy now... she said I just don't need it...

So... Gunner asked me in a PM if I thought I made the right choice with the tires... I bought the tires just because he suggested them. I knew I wanted Interco and he is the only reason I went with these over the ones I orginally wanted. The tires are awesome. They get traction like only Interco does. That is why the truck stayed so clean. I didn't need wheel spin to go anywhere. I drove in and out of everything with the same traction I have when on the street. The less wheelspin you have the more control you have. Aired down to a still high 19-20 psi these things gripped and ripped. NOW... there is not a doubt in my mind that the ONLY reason I didn't get massive body damage to the side of my truck was due to the performance of these new tires. The quality of the ride was not compromised either. They are slightly louder than a stock BFG, but that is a no-brainer. They are slightly stiffer than the stock BFG, but I'm still deciding what tire pressure I want to run. I am 100% satisfied with my tire choice and owe Gunner a beer for his suggestion.

and I just had another thought.... A stock BFG for the H2 (315/70-17) costs approx $237 from the place I bought my tires. (4wheelparts) The tire Gunner suggested (35x12.5-17) cost me $249. Clearly an extra $12 per tire was worth it.
