I can come in way under limit with my weekender:

81 280z 2 seater with t-tops, fully restored... Black.

This was my first car, bought it used in 1990 and whipped it back into perfect shape. These cars were made of serious steel (as the evidenced by the many rust holes I fixed). When you punched it, the rear axile would sit and grap the road. Straight six... the drive is ultra pure, before they got all gadgety with the 300's.

I always really liked the 240 and 260 Z cars. Very clean, simple design.

LOL Bob, I had my 69 Camaro in HS also. Although it wasn't new then, almost 20 years old when I got it.

I feel your pain...I am looking to trade my CTS because it has 68,000 already. I can't find anything I like right now in the newer market. I think I am going to be forced to wait for the new Camaro, preferably the SS. As far as the Cayenne goes (please don't be mad) it just seems gay (couldn't think of a better word, sorry) to me. Of course I had to rent a car a few weeks ago and they told me all they had were crossovers. I hadn't been keeping up with wagons so I didn't know what a cross-over was. I just told them I didn't think I wanted to drive one of those because it sounded funny. They gave me a Mustang instead. It also sucked because it was a little 6 banger, but at least it looked good, LOL.

Well, you guys/gals can hate on the Cayenne all you want.

I think it's a very impressive vehicle. There are quite a few of them here in Chicago driving the expressways, and I've seen what they can do. I'm always glazey-eyed when I do.

The new Cayenne Turbo is 500 HP and from what I read is pretty impressive on the street. If I had the money, I'd probably buy one, but for now, I'll just keep pumping as little HP out of my 3.5 that I can
