I think the lenses would be the best idea, then we could just get some White bulbs to shine through

I found these on eBay. I know LED's are supposed to be crazy bright but this has 32 bulbs, so my question is, is there some type of regulator so the housing only gets a certain amount of volts, causing the individual bulbs to be really dim because of the number? Does that makes sense to anyone? For example math time...

Say the DRL light socket gets 35 watts of power, would you divide that by 32 so each light would only get 1.09 watts? Sorry for the dumb question, here's the link to the lights I saw.

I saw something like that on the net, except it had a couple of leds facing backward at the reflector to more evenly disperse the light. As to the wattage question, I am not sure about this, but I think those LEDs use less watts than regular bulbs, ie lower watts less draw on the battery. Voltage is still the same, so each light should be bright. If the total number of leds used more watts than the factory ones, then you would be at risk of melting the wires that feed it. IMO.

I put in amber 4157 bulbs for DRL's. They look good and are fairly bright. I can see the amber glow on the road at night while driving. Also I have my DRL's wired up to be on day and night and the 4157 bulbs haven't burned out yet and it's been 6 months since I put them in.

that is too true, I am looking for Canadian dealers, maybe that is a new business that should be opened here in Canada, a HUMMER parts and custom shop, servicing CANADA! Not sure, probably too expensive too!!!!!

I put those same PIAA 3157 bulbs in the DRL sockets of my one 08 H2. After 2 weeks of them being in there and an average of 4 hours a day driving the DRL sockets turned from cream color to a burned brownish black from the increased heat. Never again.

I went and bought a set of these :

39 Led 3156 Style bulbs

Also why the 3156 bulb? not a 3157 bulb?

I can take a few photos as soon as I get a chance. The 3157 is a dual filament. The 3156 is a single. With the 3157 bulbs from that ebay seller only 2/3 or the leds light up. With the 3156 all of them light up. The DRL socket is a single circuit. Not a dual circuit. So using the 3156 works like a charm.
