Just figure that we went from a Horse and Carriage to the Moon in 60 some years then we kind of "took a break" for awhile. So it's about time that we start "progressing" again. If you can call it that

Yeah, they never totally went over the whole Paul Revere thing in my son's class when he was growing up. Also never went over the Presidents! WTF?! they said that they had to "make room" for the more current cultural events in history, MLK, ERA, etc... My question is why make room? Just add it, it's history! You can't pick and choose what to omit. The farter along we get, the more history there will be to learn. Sucks to be you I guess (the kids)

The more things change, the more they stay the same. That's what I always say.............when I can remember it. College was that long ago? Don't seem possible, but my kids remind me of it every day.
