All the best to you with your new H3, I bet you can't wait to see how it handles in the snow.

Hi. I just bought an '07 H3. While at the dealer, I drove the '06 before I decided on the '07 (both automatics). It's not a night and day difference, but the '07 has noticeably more jump from a stop which, IMO, makes daily driving more pleasurable. The '06 felt a little sluggish in that range (at least the one I drove). The mid range and top end are similar, the '07 having a slight advantage. Overall though, the '06 has more of a coming up on the cam feel entering the mid range, whereas the '07 is more linear in its power delivery. Anyway, I really like the H3. It solid, feels well put together and the powertrain is very smooth - nearly BMW inline 6 smooth. The steering is nicely weighted, too. Also, I think the on road handling is very good, the H3 doesn't roll way over in turns. Actually, I'm surprised at how well it turns. The moon roof is fantastic, I like how it extends forward of you so you can actually see sky in your upward peripheral. The one thing I would have liked was if the cargo floor was totally flat with the rear seats in the down position. And while I'm bitching, that the standard radio played MP3's. In spite of those minor complaints, I would recommend the H3 without hesitation. Rob

I have tried to add on twice now, so here is my third and final attempt. The 07 does definitely have more power as it is able to pass vehicles easily and does not downshift at every hill on the hi-way. It tops out at 99 m.p.h. as well :) After 4 fill ups we are at 16.1 & 16.9 (all city) 18.5 (all hi-way) and 17.5 (mix of everything). My wife LOVES the blind spot mirrors as do I. I am 6'3" and still have a hard time seeing right next to me. Sill love the vehicles and would like to include some pics of last weekend. Photo does not do it's justice though! Thumbnail Image
