2 quad cores (which is equivalent to eight with a total of 4.0ghz slightly overcclocked)

I hate water cooling but I needed it
quad sli video cards and they are ultras

Wow, some real computer nerds on here....and I thought I was bad. After I got my desktop all set up to run AutoCAD I left it alone and bought this small laptop that I can take anywhere with me. It's not for gaming or anything like that but surfing the web and checking email works great. That and I got it for free, so I really can't complain. I did make sure to get all of mine before Vista came out though. I'm not a huge fan of XP or anything really. As long as it works, I'm happy but I heard that Vista ran a lot in the background. When I'm working from home, CAD takes a lot of memory and I don't need something else running in the background that might crash the program on me.

microsoft definately, to me macs are good for 2 things, video editing and looking cool. I do like video editing but im not paying twice the price for someting that has the same hardware as a PC with a crappy OS. also I like microsoft because it is easy to use, its kinda intuitive and you can gett more advanced with customizing certain feautures, adding 3rd party software and of course drag and drop.

Macs are crap because they have no video games, no fun software, and no special feature...it also can be hard to use

Have heard some good things about Mac's but I prefer Microsoft just because that is what I'm used to. I don't play games on the computer so none of that makes much of a difference to me. I primarily use them for work and here, that's it

I know enough to call my IT guy when I need help with something...which is pretty often.
