so,, if i buy this thing from ebay and it turns an H2 has no air suspension into one that does?
ARe there any other parts needed for the upgrade? It sure costs a loss less than the air suspension option when you buy the H2.

What you are going to need I found out:

The air compressor assembly from the guy on eBay

The mounting bolts

the air bag air lines

the two airbags with mounts

the switch to go up front

reprogram the body control module

Thats it.

I ordered mine from the guy on ebay - shipped it today - Im headin to the dealer in the morning to get the airbags etc...

Has anyone had any failures of the bags or leaks in the lines. I did not opt for the air ride when I bought my 05, it just sounded like a part destined for failure. What about the aftermarket any kits that could be adapted for the H2? Airlift? Hellwig? Firestone?? etc..

I am not looking for the air suspension, I am just looking to get the compressor so that I can have the ability to pump things up via the cargo area, I don;t have the panel for the cargo area there or anything else, I am just looking to do that, I know you want air suspension but it seems like a lot of work, and expense. I can;t imagine this would be any good for off roading, would it?? How much smoother is the ride with the air suspension? I had Air suspension in my Linoln Navigator, I liked it but never had one without so nothing really to compare against.

The air suspension makes the ride more linear - less shock - absorbs more - Without air ride looks like this ^^^^^^^^^. With Air ride looks like this ~~~~~~~~. Get it?

I have not heard of them leaking. However the best and simple one to go with is the Firestone system. You manually inflate them. I am opting to go for the factory one. It automatically deflates above 45mph.

I like a bit of a rough ride, I need to feel the difference, my dealer has a 2006 on their lot with air suspension, I am going to take it for a rip and see the difference.
