I'll hopefully pick up my h3 this weekend in Tampa, fingers crossed. Can anyone recommend places in florida for offroading for a first timer?

I have not made a run down to the Tampa area or South Florida so not sure what is close to you, but Jeapeater is from Tampa area and from the looks of things he has found a few great spots. I am sure he will chime in soon. I have been to the Ocala National Forest a few times and there are tons of trails and camping. I would not go alone though, kind a like scuba diving you never want to get in to deep without a buddy.

Anyway enjoy the Hummer, maybe we will cross on the trails one day.

welcome to the forum bro, looks like were gettin a couple ppl in florida woo, yah im in the same boat im tryin to fond good places to wheel around central florida, never been to ocala we need to get a group of us together and hit some trails sometime with jeepeater and all

I am always up for a run. I got a call from Hummer of Orlando back in February about a run they are trying to put together for sometime in April. I will post something when I get the details. Glad to see more Florida guys on the Forum.
