I think that there are a lot of Hummer owners out there that honostly think they are better than everybody else. That not me and I don't think hardly anybody here is that way either. I guess it's like they say to each his own.

Can't say I have run into any of those people. I know some that think there rig is better than anyone elses. ( and they usually are ) 99% of the Hummer people I have been around are just normal people that happen to love their Hummer and what it can do. Haven't found that many egos out there.

I waved at other Hummer's for the longest time and never did I get a response back, a couple months ago I was driving and in the other direction there was an H2 coming, all of a sudden he waves at me, I was in shock, by time I realized it, it was to late to wave back he must of said what a jerk, I was tempted to turn around and go after him but then what would he think LOL!!!!

I finally caught the eye of a yellow H2 on Meecham Ave in Schaumburg, IL and gave them the thumbs up.  They were so shocked looking!  Then happy.  I wasn't in my H2, I was driving my CTS.  I haven't seen many Hummers since my post though.  I have seen some H3's but they have their eyes on the indicator, in otherwords, hunched over the wheel and watching the road.  Oh well, what are you going to do?

Hey Lisa.  My wife and I moved from Chicago to Plainfield, and everybody and their mother owns a H2 and H3 around here.  Not ONE person has waved yet though  You think there are alot in the north burbs, you should drive down south one day, especially in Naperville and Bolingbrook.

Unfortunately everybody around here is older with kids.  We stick out like a sore thumb  It's more soccer moms driving their kids around then it is younger people loving their trucks.  It kind of fuels the stereotype of them being street cars.    The train station I park at has at least 10 H2's and 3's every day.  They are all over the place.

It is good that there are that many. Means they are popular.

When I had my CJ we used to all wave each other (CJ's), on the motorcycle we all wave at eachother. I always wave or flash my lights when I'm in my 3, occasionally someone will respond. I'm just going to keep doing it. sooner or later it will catch on.

Lisa, don't take this the wrong way. But if you drove by and gave me a thumbs up, I'd smile too

No other Hummer driver waves, flashes, etc. at another Hummer driver here in NJ.

Other Hummer drivers wave at me all the time, along with tons of people I don't even know..hahaha... My boyfriend gets a kick out of it, he'll ask "who's that" and I'm like "I have no idea"... he waves back now.... He likes driving my truck
