I know this is a silly/dumb question because the HUMMER is such a rugged vehicle but here it goes anyways.....

Do they sell some sort of bug/stone shield for the HUMMER H2?  I'll be taking it on a road trip at the end of the month and I will hate to get some chips & dings in the paint.

Please be nice with the comments...

Thanks,
generh2

I have seen one before on an H2 so I know they make em, didn't look to bad, but I am not sure what good it really does. If anything at all.

i don't think you have to worry about chips in the paint, there's no paint exposed in the front anyway.  and if by chance you do get a nick in the hood it won't rust on you . . . . . if you have the color matched grill a bug deflector won't help anyway since it will be above the grill.  to protect that you'd need a bra - preferably an underwire . . . .

A number of guys have them on their H3s and seem to like them. Not sure about the 2.

I personally wouldn't put one up there.... not going to do any good anyway....  nothing about a 2 is streamlined... I couldn't begin to tell you how many birds I hit on a regular basis...
