Well just bought myself a new toy to play with(I guess it will be my weekend warrior!)
Will help keep the repair bill down on the H1(but dont worry I will still wheel it just not as much!)
Also will make the smaller trails more fun and smaller obsticles a bit more challenging :)

It is a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee(ZJ)
The rear of it has been chopped and welded back on right behind the rear seats.. turned into SUT type deal. Also a 2" budget boost has been installed on the front end and long arms also have been installed. The rear has been locked by a lincoln welder... has the fenders chopped and custom front/rear bumpers and rocker protection. Also rails have been stiffened and 32" tires have been put on the front. Drivers door has been modded so it can be removable. Gas tank has been moved to the SUT truck bed to keep it out of the elements and stop it from being punctured.
That is all I can think of at the moment but I will keep you posted as I change it and find out more.
So without further delay here are the pics!

That................is quite the machine.   I think you're gonna have to do something with that fuel tank???
A shield over the top, and side rails for the bed?    ?  Smokers ride in the back at your own risk.

yea it sure is different that is why i think i liked it. And with Gopher Dunes mudfest on the way I need a small rig for the trails since full size rigs are not allowed on the trails :(
As for fuel tank its fine there actually safer then stock for its application of offroad use... maybe it could be secured better but wont puncture or get hit underneath also away from the heat from muffler etc... And yea no smoking :P

The fuel tank location was the first thing I notcied. Still think something over the top of it is a good idea. Flat shelf might make a good spot for a spare. Looks like you have another way to get in trouble and spend money. Guess that new baby hasn't broken the bank yet. LOL

oh trust me it has! but this is actually to help me save money... only paid $500 for it. and if it breaks i can use it as a parts truck and get another one for $500... And after doing some body damage to my H1 i kind of want a rig I can use in the small trails and keep the H1 for the wider trails etc so no worrys about body damage.
And yea might do something about the gas tank but for now i think its good... if it does catch on fire hey atlreast its out of the truck and will be able to see right way :)

Is that even street legal?  Nice truck for the price, but I would cover the gas tank.

LOL!
And no its not street legal... will be towed to the trails all the time... strictly for offroading.

My plans with it are..
Finish lifting it(its basically half way there) just need some 4" springs and shocks for the front and its finished already have the shocks for the rear and springs from front go to the rear for a budget lift... Also long arms are already on it and the steering stabilizer is already extended...
Put 33" SS Boggers on it.
Paint it Camo
Stencil Paint in "LIL JUN" in the middle of front and rear bumpers.

And thats about it. And yea no plans to protect the gas tank. If i was a fabricator and knew how to weld I might but I dont and dont want to pay someone as much as I paid for the truck to do so... Trying to keep it cheap....

At least for what you paid for it if something expensive breaks you can just push it behind some bushes and walk away.
