does anyone know where the IAT or the Intake Air Temperature Sensor is in the engine compartment?
I can't find it and it is supposed to have two wires attached to it.

I haven't seen one. Only th MAF and MAP. I'm not really sure if the H3 uses one. Usually the IAT sensor is to retard timing in extreme heat conditions, but I'm not if the H3 even needs one. Those ebay things only work if the engine management system is really sensitive to heat.

I agree Mountain
I took it to a friend of mine and we checked everywhere and couldn't find it. However, the parts are listed as available for a 2006 H3 so it must have one. Finding it is just impossible.

If it's some ebay IAT semsor capacitor thingy seller, then I wouldn't trust them as a good source of info on the H3. Call the stealership service dept and ask them.

The IAT is integrated into the MAF. It is electrically independent from the MAF. The two IAT wires are on one end of the MAF connector - I forget the colors.

Here is a picture of mine..It is located on your Intake plenum between the filter and engine... I think it's mounted on top.

I took the entire intake system apart last weekend, and there is no temp sensor, just the air intake sensor. There might be a sensor integrated into the throttle body but I doubt it. By that time it probably doesn't matter.
