Doc, love the intake!! My rig is quieter, runs smoother and works perfectly with my new exhaust and pcmforless tune. Plus the install only took a half hour or so. It looks great too. Thanks again!

Doc Olds -> RE: H3 Hummer Perormance Intakes Systems (9/9/2008 6:48:11 PM)

Motley, I am gald you like the 2008 H3 AirDocIntake kit.  I thank you for your support and interest in our products.
It was our goal to provide an easy to install top quality product built tough enough for a Hummer, but have other GM trucks love it too.  [:D]

The Alpha testing will be getting back on track tomorrow, my prototype was destroyed when my tester wrecked his truck almost
3 weeks ago.  [&o]      I have another local enthusiast to work with, and will do my best to get those added to the web site
for sale early next month.  With that addition we will have all the H3 hummers covered, all the Chevy Colorados and Canyons as well, and
will be ready for the launch of the 2009 V8 Colorado/Canyon.  Next?

Performs brilliantly
Thx heaps Doc

Hey DOC, have you looked at the ISUZU (GM Clones) with the 2.8 I4? I looked at one at my work and the setup is the same as a Colorado. If you need some pics and info just let met know I’ll see what I can do.

It’s good to back in the States. Looks like business is good. Posted my install. If those who don’t want to cut the intake cover filter brace the measurements on the S&B have to be shorter by at least 2" I’ll spec it out and post it.

Doc Olds -> RE: H3 Hummer Perormance Intakes Systems (9/22/2008 7:32:50 AM)

Gunny:  Yes I have.  The H306/07 AirDocIntake will fit the old version Isuzu Pickups, and the H308 AirDocIntake will fit the 2008 i290 and i370.  I have not made any marketing effort that direction as of yet.  They all share the same intakes as the Colorado/Canyon and the H3.

If you can get me some underhood pics, send them my way by PM, and I that would be cool!
Thanks

GRS -> RE: H3 Hummer Perormance Intakes Systems (9/22/2008 10:33:32 AM)

So Doc, you have the Alpha intakes available for purchase now?

Doc Olds -> RE: H3 Hummer Perormance Intakes Systems (9/22/2008 11:12:21 AM)

No Alphas yet.  [&o]

I am working on it, and hope to have them for sale next month.  I will be doing additional promotions, and have every intention of launching the Alpha there about 3-4 weeks from now.  It is a long story, but what had to be done for the Alpha should posibly also work for the H2s, so now I am going that direction as well.  Testing and more testing.

Also looking at the full size GM truck line, just never seems to end, not enough hours in the day.

TheGunnyRet -> RE: H3 Hummer Perormance Intakes Systems (9/22/2008 11:17:25 AM)

No Problem Doc, when I get them I will send them to you as you has requested. Meanwhile I will get the corrected specs on the S&B Filter and post them.

Wilson -> RE: H3 Hummer Perormance Intakes Systems (9/30/2008 7:18:20 AM)

Recieved some decals from you yesterday.Thank You very much-Wilson

Doc Olds -> RE: H3 Hummer Perormance Intakes Systems (9/30/2008 7:44:04 AM)

You are welcome.  Couple customers wanted them, I was always gonna get to them..............now it is a done deal.  Mialed some out to all customers.

All the new orders have them included in the box.  Sure some people will toss them, give to their kids?  but.............others wanted them for their truck, tool box, or to put them on the AirDoc Intake pipe itself.

They are indoor outdoor mylar films reverse printed and laminated.....pretty durable.

If anybody uses them up and needs more, just email us at  info@airdocintakes.com  and we''ll send you another set.

DevilDog -> RE: H3 Hummer Perormance Intakes Systems (11/13/2008 12:04:35 PM)

Dang Doc
If I hadnt JUST ordered my air intake from VOLANT...Which i still havent gotten yet since the SAWP OUT on wrong part....I would have ordered one of yours...Maybe i can call VOLANT and STOP my order...so this fits my 07 H3 3.7???? seeing the pics above...I dont have that pipe going to the value cover,,,Do I????

Doc Olds -> RE: H3 Hummer Perormance Intakes Systems (11/13/2008 12:31:51 PM)

Yes you do have the valve cover emission hose, but Volant does not replace the throttle body resonator box.  The valve cover breather hose connects to the bottom rear of that box, our system just connects to that stock hose once the box is removed.  Now why anyone would go to all the trouble to replace everything else, and leave the restrictive resonator box in the loop is beyond me.  Here is a pic of the Volant intake so you can see that big old honkin resonator box is still in place??

chucko99 -> RE: H3 Hummer Perormance Intakes Systems (11/14/2008 7:49:20 AM)

I just got one of these in the mail and before I put it on need to know if it will still fit ok with a Airaid throttle body spacer installed. Going to get one of those to put on at the same time if it will.
Thanks.

Doc Olds -> RE: H3 Hummer Perormance Intakes Systems (11/14/2008 8:07:00 AM)

My official answer is NO, it will not fit.
However, we have 2-3 customers with the H367 kit (for the 2006/07s) that do have an Airad TB spacer installed with that AirDoc model.  I have never personally done or seen it with the 2008 I5?

I would ask why a TB spacer?  Search the H3 forums here, and you will see there is absolutely no measurable improvement on a dyno, and even the manufacturer responded to a member''''s email confirming that they cannot document it does anything, but in "theory" it may help.  You also cannot measure an improvement in mileage with just a TB spacer.  I know people keep buying them, but I cannot figure out why?

Assuming you have the same luck as those other customers that have the Airaid TB spacer AirDoc combo, maybe post a pic here too so we can check it out.  Thanks and I sincerely hope that you can run both if that is your personal preference.
